Social media help

  • On the posts on my blog, I set a featured image – but when I share it on Facebook, it uses the theme image in the top banner instead. How can I set it to display featured image?

    Also, is there a plug in to make the snippet below the preview show the manual excerpt (as I set this for every post) instead of unformatted text from the post?

  • You need to check the setting of Yoast SEO there is an option below the post in the editing mode to change the image for sharing. Maybe you don’t have Yoast SEO plugin installed on your WordPress website. Just Download the plugin from and your problem will be solved. [removed unrelated link]
