social media feather json error

  • When I try to add the Social Media Feather “follow us” icons widget I receive the error message “The response is not a valid JSON response.”

  • @puffinanda I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you give us the steps to reproduce this issue? We aren’t able to replicate the problem.

    What version of WordPress are you using?
    What version of the plugin are you on?

    WordPress 5.8.1
    Social Media Feather 2.0.3
    Site Kit by Google 1.42.0

    @puffinanda do you mind posting the steps you took to get the error message so we can hopefully replicate and fix the issue?

    @puffinanda Tried reproducing this again on WordPress 5.8.2 in Social Media Feather 2.0.3 and in the upcoming release candidate for 2.0.4 and was still unable to reproduce!

    I am going to close our local ticket for this for the time being. If you run into the issue again, please give me steps to reproduce.
