    Hey Gemini!

We have no social media integration in our plugin — this sounds like you have something else on your site interfering with our plugin.

Do you have some sharing widget on your site? If you do, and it automatically adds itself to content, then I suspect it is automatically adding itself to our Testimonials.

Try disabling any sharing plugins you may have and see if that helps identify the source of the issue.

    Best,
    Richard

I’m having the same problems. The testimonial widget looks fine on pages I don’t have social sharing buttons, but as soon as there are share buttons on the page, they also insert themselves into the testimonial widget. I even tried changing out to a different sharing plugin, but that inserted itself too. I’m at a loss right now what to do about it and would appreciate input. Thanks. I’m including a link to my website so you can see what I mean.

Well it didn’t start until I upgraded ET last week. I went through all setting for the plug-in and my other plug-ins and site and couldn’t get them off without removing from the whole page, which I don’t want to do. And it also leaves a double space where it wants to put the buttons.

You can see what it looks like after removal of the buttons here.

I though that by removing the social buttons from after posts, that would take care of it, but that didn’t work either. Not sure what else could have changed. Thanks for your help.

    Hey Gemini!

Can you go to the Basic Options page and be sure “Apply The Content Filter” isn’t checked? If it is uncheck it. If it isn’t, check it, save, and then un-check it and save (just to be sure something hasn’t tripped it.)

That option would output things such as sharing buttons, if you have a plugin on your site that adds sharing buttons to posts, for example.

Let me know if that helps.

    Best,
    Richard
