So Ive tried multiple plugins for social logins, currently trying super socializer. So when a user login using that/ or register i guess its the same thing.. anyways when they use either facebook or google to complete the reg/log they seem to be logged in, however when they see for example the profile page it says “no user logged in”??? this seems to be a weird bug and im desperately trying to figure out this error…. Please help!!! im not requiring any user verification emails i just want to keep it simple… if the user registers the regular way they do not experience this error, and are able to update their profiles etc… why is this the case??? Also weird behavior is when they do the (SL/R) in the swpm members page it shows last login as all 0’s . what is going on?? i can provide access to my site if this can be resolved??

THIS IS THE SAM EXACT ISSUE IM HAVING, YOU NEVER SOLVED THIS… USER WHEN LOGGING IN OR REGISTERING WITH SOCIAL MEDIA IS LOGGED IN THROUGH WORDPRESS BUT NOT SWPM. YOUR DOCUMENTATION YOU DIRECTED THIS USER TO FOR THE NEW “FEATURE” DOESNT SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM ISNT THE USER CREATION ITS BEING RECOGNIZED AS LOGGED IN FOR BOTH WP AND SWPM!!!!

Hi, can you confirm the following feature is enabled in the settings?

    Thank you

    (@mikecrf121)

Yes…. Again the feature you directed me too takes care of creating the account.. It doesnt fix the fact that YOUR plugin doesnt allow social login. Social login works through wp itslef but ignores it(your plugin doesn’t rexognize as logged in with social media) . what you directed me and the other guy years ago to is the feature that creates an account when using social login. It doesnt address being logged in with social media through your plugin. This is a serious bug that needs to be fixed

So again.. The feature your directing me to creates the account.. But doesnt recognize the user being logged in if using the “social media” login

    Any Update on this???
Is Social Login a Myth then?

Originally, when I did the coding it was fine but the social login plugins keep changing things and this has become a bit of a challenge for me to stay in the loop. It takes a lot of time to maintain this.

I have personally tested the following social login plugin today and the login works fine with it (when configured correctly):

Thank you! I Will try this out. Been developing a site, really like your plugin but was frustrated in finding this bug out. Yea just looking for a social “login” to work lol. I’ll let you know.

    Thanks again,
