Social Icons widget

  • The Social Icons widget, available via the block editor, is not working properly.

    Two Issues:

    • Once I add them to the page, update the page, and then view it on my website, the icons are not displayed
    • The social media links are not being auto-populated
      • …yet, they SHOULD be, since there is a form that allows you to add all your social media links from the Appearance Menu on the Dashboard:
        • Appearance –> Customize –> Social

  • Not sure if I understand your question, but it is supposed to show only when there is content (instead of the placeholders) in the data, right? We don’t want to put icons for a social media you don’t have, only for those you want people to contact you on.
