• Hi!

    A quick question.
I’m trying to use a custom image for the social links option in the theme options (twitter, in this case), instead of the generic FontAwesome icon, but it’s not working. I got the image uploaded to the WordPress media library, copied the url, and..nothing.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks!

  • Hey there Yasawas,

    Hope you’re well today ??

I’ve checked the theme that you’re using and the URL there should be actually be link to your social network, in this case twitter.

Out of a box you can only use FontAwesome icons, this could be overridden by hiding font awesome icon and placing background image on that specific element with CSS.

If you need help with that please post link to your site, and the image link you want to use there and I’ll be happy to help ??

    Cheers,

    Hi Bojan,

Thanks for the info. Actually, I already managed to “fix” it by doing what you suggested. I thought, well, i’m going to hack the hell out of that CSS to do what I want to ??

    Anyway, thanks for the answer!

Glad you managed to figure that one out ??

    Have a nice day!

    Cheers,
    Bojan
