I see a previous problem with social icons not displaying in the footer, but I have a problem with them not displaying in either the header or the footer.

However in the case of the header you can tell that that they are there because if you hover or click on the blank display area it works.

@randyscott777: Please do not offer admin access to anyone on these forums! The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice, and I mean no disrespect to Menaka S., however, by giving someone the keys to your house, you are trusting that they won’t steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

So, please do not offer again.

    Hi RandyScott777

Please login to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Appearance -> Customize -> Header -> Design and Layout
Look for this setting. Social links in header
Ensure that the check-box is checked.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!

Hi Denzel – it is and that was the 1st thing I looked at before making this posting. I even un-checked it, saved, and then re-checked it.

    Hi RandyScott777,
You seem to have done some customization and set the icons for the social media to a different path.
    For example,

    https://smokeyhollowcrossfit.com/wp-content/uploads/Instagram.jpg

This does not exist or is not accessible. This is the reason why you can’t see the icons.
    Can you check this?

Hi Menaka – that was the problem. I had some Custom CSS that pointed to better looking icons for Facebook, Instagram, and Email. By removing the CSS it works using/displaying the WordPress default icons, however I would like to still use my custom icons. It seems as though the new release of WordPress or Customizr is somehow restricting access to these icons whereas before they were accessible. For example, I use to be able to test the display of an icon via smokeyhollowcrossfit/wp-content/uploads/email.jpg but now it gives me a “page not found” error.

Have you checked the permissions of these new icons?

    Hi,
I can browse through the contents of your folder
    https://smokeyhollowcrossfit.com/wp-content/uploads/
I do not see any file Instagram.jpg
So, probably the path is different for the new icons.
Try giving the correct path or reupload the new icons.
