Social Icons not appearing

  • I’m a new Customizr user, and am very happy with it.

    I tested it out on a dummy site I own, and everything worked perfectly. Then installed it on my regular website. Everything is good to go except the Social Icons. I added the links to the RSS, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google+, Pinterest, and Instagram. The only icons showing are the RSS and Google+. If you hover over the spaces between the RSS and Google+, I see the ALT text – but no icons. Can you advise me as to what the issue might be? Oh, and I have the same issue when I add the social links to the right sidebar. Eydie

  • I have a problem with the social media icons not appearing ONLY on the homepage when it first loaded. If I hovered over them, they would appear. Or if I went to another page then came back to the homepage, they would appear. But on first loading, they would appear on every page except the homepage. Weird. Taking rdell’s advice above, I went through my plugins one by one, deactivating each in turn. Seems to be the Responsive Lightbox plugin that’s responsible. Shame, as I use it, but it’s good to find out the reason, and now I can look for alternatives. Thanks for the advice.
