Social icons issue

    Please go to your dashboard > Simple Author Box > Misc > and make sure you have turned off ‘Disable Font Awesome stylesheet’ not on > save.

    I has the same issue, adding the CSS mentioned above worked perfectly.

    I am also having this issue. Toggling the “Disable Font Awesome stylesheet” option on and off has no effect. (I am already calling the FA stylesheet for version 5, so this should be on, but I tried turning it off just to see.)

    Inspecting the page element for the fonts, I see this plugin is still using the FA 4 icons. I recently updated to version 5, and it was only after doing that that I noticed the icons were missing (showing up as rectangles).

    I would think if it was a conflict, just toggling off the above option would resolve it. I tried that, cleared my cache and browser cache, but the icons still do not appear. However, I think it’s not a coincidence I noticed this after the update to FA 5.

    Please let me know what other steps I can take to try to resolve this!

    Update: I found that implementing the following CSS AND toggling off the option to disable the Font Awesome stylesheet resolved the problem.
