social icons in header

    I am really liking this theme!

    The preview image of the theme shows social icons in the header– just below the search button. Is this available? If so, how do we set it up?

    If this area is available, can it be used for a different widget? (I would like to put my resize font widget up there rather than below the slider)

  • You can set up the social icons through the theme customization screen. In the left hand menu bar, go under “Appearance” to “Customize”. Then click on “Great Theme Options” and then on “Social Media”. Here you can specify the size of the icons and then you can specify which icons you want to display and what you want them to point to.

    I’m working on figuring out how to put up your own custom icons in that space as well. If you have figured it out, I’d love to hear about it. Otherwise, I’ll post if I figure it out.

    If you want to put image icons instead of our font-awesome icons, you can use CSS for this.
