Social icons don’t work

    Hello,

    I can’t get the social icons to show on my homepage.

    I have set the URLs in the configuration page fields but the error icon keeps showing up.

    Is the theme still supposed to load the icons by itself or do I have to set anything manually?

    That’s a very weird issue indeed as the icons are being converted into SVG. Are you using any plugin related to icons or Font Awesome on your website?

    Hello, thank you for your reply.

    Yes, I have installed the Font Awesome plugin right after noticing that the icons weren’t showing up.

    Should I uninstall it?

    Can you give me a list of all the plugins you’re using so I could try?

    Eureka! After several hours (duh!) I found the problem!

    Deactivating the following plugins magically made the icons show up.

    RaraTheme Companion
    Rara One Click Demo Import

    I forgot to uninstall them, they were needed for a theme I had tried while building the previous version of the site.

    I hope this info is useful for someone.

    I was actually looking at RaraTheme Companion as the culprit. Could see that plugin is loaded in your front-end, while I’m sure One-Click-Demo had nothing to do with it.
