Social buttons in Carousel?

  • Yes Please!!! I’m dying to have this feature. The share buttons on are the page with the gallery, but are not shown on each individual view of the photos which is the crux of sharing photos!

    While we do not support this feature yet, you could add your own sharing buttons to the Carousel view thanks to the hooks we have added to the Carousel module.

    I have also taked note of your feedback, and we will consider adding the feature in a future Jetpack update!

    Really hoping to see this come to fruition. As publisher of a hiking site where photos mean so much, it would be awesome for folks to be able to share directly from the Carousel.

    Please please add this feature soon…

    Just adding my voice to the chorus as the ability to share photos from the Carousel out of the box is definitely a meaningful feature request.
