Social Buttons

    I would like to bother you one more time.
    How can I activate the Social buttons? While editting the template I can fill in my twitter/facebook e.g. and checked the boxes, but the buttons don’t appear on the website.

    Hi Javeyday…. you will have to go to the theme’s customizer either by:

    1. going to the main dashboard and clicking on the big blue button “Customize your site”
    2. going to Appearance >> Themes >> then click on the text link “Customize” next to the theme’s screenshot.
    3. On the Social Networking tab, uncheck each social icon and then check them again (more about this below) add a link to the ones you want then click Save & Publish.

    Now for the strange part (although a very minor issue) is that the social options are going to be all checked but not show on the page, but if you uncheck them then check them again then click Save, then they show. Will have this fixed on the next update of this theme so that they do not show as checked.

    One follow up request on the social buttons — would it be possible to add YouTube to the list of options? Perhaps in a future update?

    Hi brharrison… never thought about the Youtube one, but I added it to my list of possibilities. You might see this on my next theme I am working on ??
