Update – errors seem to be theme issues … but response from dev poor

I’m updating my review. It seems the plugin is working and the problems I think most of us are having, besides some of the weird stuff, like wrapping in <p>…. It seems my theme TrueMag is the issue. I could be wrong but they gave me a workaround and I’m able to see the plugin is working as designed. Just go to the plugin’s settings and enable ” Will be displayed in bottom of content.” and you will see the count increasing even with caching enabled ?? but TrueMag does not..

BUT, the response of the developer has been poor. Just come out and talk to us. The attitude of “it’s free to shut up” is a poor one.. If that is your attitude then clearly state “NO SUPPORT” or just poor the plugin. But he had just upgraded and it seemed like a LOT of people had problems… Just communicate… It’s that simple.. I think this has left a bad taste in many people’s mouths, which is truly sad as the plugin is a good one, a bit heavy but good.

So – I will give a 4 star. If the dev would just speak up I would gladly give 5!

This is a GREAT plugin and prior to the 3.0 version it was rock solid…

Then the update….

Numerous people are having major problems, from double counts to blank pages to zero counts… Fair enough, updates are always a curious thing but the lack of response and in some cases the response of “this is free so” makes this plugin unreliable. Do I continue using it or go somewhere else? The attitude of the dev has been very poor. Just tell us you are working on it or this is how it is so we can go and do as we need…

So – When it worked it was a 6 star… PERFECT … but now it is a 0 stars as if you update or are new and use v3 then good luck.. .you are on your own and if it works then great but if it does not … lord only knows…

I hope the developer will fix this and I will be happy to donate and give it 5 stars…

Let’s cross our fingers and hope a fix comes soon.
