    Let me preface this by saying that I have no idea what I’m doing. I have a blog on WP that someone else built and set up for me. It is hosted through Transparent Technologies and located at https://www.paintingchef.com.

    Or at least… it WAS.

    I was using an older version of wordpress and hadn’t updated it because I didn’t really know how (PLEASE stop laughing at me, this gets worse, just save your breath). I started getting emails from Trans. Tech. about a server upgrade that I didn’t really know what to do with so I sent them to the person who helped me set everything up. Well, I never heard back from her so I just kind of forgot about it all until this morning when I realized that my website was gone.

    I can’t even go to the posting login to find my site and do the upgrade. I know that to help me, someone would need loads more information but I’m trying to find someone to hire so that I can fix all this. Is there anyone who can direct me to something or someone that can even begin to help?

    A server upgrade most likely means they were moving all the sites to a new server, since you never did they assumed you did. they shut down the old server and now your site is no longer. sounds like you need to contact your hosting to see if they still have a copy of your files or just start over. Hope you made a backup.
