So far, so good

  • I was quite excited to find this plugin; last time I looked, BackupBuddy was the only choice. This works just as well for me, and is free. If you have a little bit of tech knowledge (e.g., how to use the Google Drive API, which is a lot easier than it sounds) it’s easy to set up following the prompts; a complete guide (not reviewed) is available for newbies.

    I only awarded 4 stars since I’m just starting. I’ll report back when I’ve had more time with it, esp. on my devblog where I can test the backup and restore more fully. But I’m happy so far, and expect this will be a five-star review at that point.
