First of all, thanks for the math fields. They are super simple to use!

I was experiencing a few oddities with forms not updating, but I de-activated a bunch of plugins and everything went back to normal. When I hunt down the specific plugin, I’ll let you know. Also, I don’t understand how to set a default option. There doesn’t seem to be a way to “unclick” the No Default option.

Now on to suggestions (in order of importance):

    • Ability to assign classes or IDs to specific fields
    • The ability to duplicate fields within a form
    • Greater control over label placement (i.e. inline or in the field using html5 placeholders)
    • Repeated fields or sections (similar to how Cognito forms has implemented it).
    • Ability to add validation (like only digits allowed etc.) to fields and masking
    • Section breaks (although you can use the html field for that, I’m lust being lazy), or even better, page breaks
    • Bulk adding options (and maybe including some common ones like States. I’m using a regular text input there because I don’t plan on typing 50 options in by hand)

So excited to see where you take this plugin. So far I’m very impressed – as my Ouma would say, this plugin is “lekker”! ??

Thank you for the great review.

Please let me know when you find the plugin causing the clash so I can fix it.

For default option, select one of the option entries as default which unsets the “No Default”

    For your suggestions:

    – I am adding custom classes and ID’s for fields. It’s already there, just not configurable just yet. It will be there soon.

    – Duplicating fields: I’m looking at adding this in soon

    – Label Placement: Unchecking “Show Label” Moves the label to a placeholder. I will be releasing an addon that will give full field customisation.

    – Validation: I have chosen to use html5 “required” tag and input types. I’ll add in masking to the “single line text” for a custom mask like the phone number has.

    – Repeater fields: Coming in a future release. Still trying to find the best way of doing them. But it will be included.

    – Section breaks: I suppose I could make some preformatted html blocks.
    – Page Breaks: Also coming in a future release, And its going to be great!

    – Bulk adding options: Coming soon as well. WIll have more options with the aforementioned field customiser addon. I agree, adding lots of options is annoying.

And yes, It is a lekker plugin ??

I haven’t been able to reproduce the problem – I hate when that happens! Good news is that I’ve re-enabled all my plugins and so far so good.

I don’t understand how to set an option as the default. Here’s a screenshot of what I see – am I missing something obvious? screenshot

    Regarding potential upcoming features

    1. Awesome.
    2. Great.
    3. I’d love to buy it when you do.
    4. That would be helpful. I know that it takes a unique sort of person to type in t-w-o when it should be 2, but you never know.
    5. Sounds good.
    6. I think sections are important for 2 reasons:
    • To show/hide entire sections based on conditions
    • As is, Caldera Forms makes creating pretty complex layouts easy, and it’s simple to create the appearance of nested layouts, but it’s really only the appearance, because when the screen narrows the rows, in some cases, stop flowing logically. I was able to find a work-around using my own css but not everyone knows css. You can check out these screenshots to see what I mean: Normal View & Resized View All the fields under “Member 1” are actually in one row, I used firebug to find the IDs for the city, state, zip and phone fields, and gave them inline display and width properties. That way when someone is viewing it on a phone, they fill out all of Member 1s info before moving on to Member 2. Not everyone needs this level of complexity, and it’s certainly rare to find it in a free plugin, but I’m shooting for the stars and hoping you’ll give us the moon ??
    • Yay! Page Breaks!
    • Fantastic.

P.S. Forgot to mention it before, the checkmark png seems to be missing.
