  • While studying the plugin on a test site, first impressions are positive. The freeform or shortcode is sorely lacking in the standalone listing demo. For example, insert a contact form or your own rating there. For this 4 stars. The design is top notch !!!

    Thank you for taking the time to rate Directorist.

    Please help me understand what you mean by “For example, insert a contact form or your own rating there”. These options are already available in Directorist. You can either use the contact form widget on the Directorist Listing Right Sidebar or use the Contact Listings Owner Form field within the Directory Builder. Similarly, you can add the Review option on the single listing page as well. An advanced version of the review feature is being added to the plugin which will be available in the upcoming update along with Oxygen builder and Gutenberg compatibility.

    If you were referring to something else then please clarify. Otherwise, I would like to request you to reconsider the rating.

    I have my own rating system plugin installed on my site. To display it in the “rating” field, you need to insert a shortcode – this is so that users can leave extended reviews for companies. Hopefully there will be an update to the extended grade types soon. Contact form – just cited as an example. Sorry that you do not understand. I use a translator from Russian.
