    Hey there

Testing your plugin today and it seemed people were happy with it. Was looking for a better, more stylish and adaptable plugin to mainly capture subscribers in a block based site, but was shocked to see, you allow Mailchimp marketing but no subscriber form at all in the free plan.

This seems nuts to me as newsletter is part of you brand and well, any newsletter starts with a signup.

    Am i missing something here?

    Hey @oolism!

Great question. This made us think really hard about our product strategy and what we want to do in the future.

    For right now:
You aren’t missing anything. We currently don’t offer any blocks as part of the free plan.

There are many excellent free block-based form plugins out there that let you capture subscribers. Our goal for the free plugin is to let people use our main feature – sending newsletters using the block editor.

If you would like, I’m happy to give you a free 2-week trial of the pro plugin. Just use this contact form (https://newsletterglue.com/contact) and refer to this forum. And I’ll get you set up!

    Hey Lesley

Thanks so much for explaining your position and reasons. I didn’t find many block based subscriber plugins but i will check again.

I thought more about the newsletter part after my post, I think i’d prefer to keep the newsletter in the email marketing side as i do use different tech, not just WP for content.

Thanks again, wish you a ton of success!
