Snippet Issue: “Missing field ‘aggregateRating’ “

I have intermitently been receiving the error “Missing field ‘aggregateRating'” across several posts which is preventing the “rating stars” from showing up in Google. Despite setting that aggregate rating on each, individual post, the schema data for aggregateRating still doesn’t show up in the Google snippet checker. Can someone help me identify the issue?
