    Hi,
    nice plugin, congratulations!
Unfortunately I have a problem with the GA snippet.
No data is collected. Website is under development and is not published.
I followed the instructions for configuring your wizard on GA.
Usually the measurement code starts with UA-XXXXXXXXXX while the assigned one starts with G-XXXXXXXXXX.
I have activated the Tag Assistant extension on Chrome and the snippet is detected but it reports an error:
    Web Property ID G-XXXXXXXXXX
Invalid or missing web property ID
    Non-standard implementation

Even if I want to modify the snippet I don’t know where and how to do it, the plugin rightly requires the insertion only of the Measurement ID …

    Can you help me please?
    Thank you

    Hi @vannimakk,

Is it correct you’re trying to add an App + Web property, instead of just a Web property?

If this is the case, I have to do a quick look on how to accept G-XXX as well.

    regards Aert

    Hi @aahulsebos,

    Yes Aert, that’s correct.
The site I’m developing involves the use of an App, I thought it was the best solution.
But if I have to manage them independently for the snippet, it’s not a problem, just work.
If I understand correctly though, it is the case that I wait for the result of your verification, if your plugin will also accept G-XXX, I await the next update of the plugin. Great!

    Thank you

    Hi @vannimakk,

I will switch to gtag.js which will accept both UA-XXX and G-XXX, until then, I saw you can connect a G-XXX site tag to an existing or new UA-code. This is an extra step but would solve the problem for now.

    regards Aert
