Smush Lazy Load no working with js scripts from wp google maps pro plugin

    Hi, I would like to enable Lazy Load on my site. However, maps from wp google maps pro plugin don’t show up if LazyLoad is activated. I asked wp google maps pro plugin about this issue and they told me only solution is to disable Smush LazyLoad as it doesn’t work with js scripts.

    I tried by disabling Lazyload for elements containing the maps with the ID/class disabling option but it doesn’t work…

    Is there any solution?

    I trust you’re doing well!

    Not all plugins can work with Lazy Load. In Smush > Lazy Load please try excluding the whole page where a map is loading.

    Please also try unselecting the iframe checkbox, as the maps are loading via an iframe. This way Lazy Load will not be applied on iframe. Please see this screenshot:

    I have tried iframe but it doesn’t work… I assume only way is to disable the full page; however, my site is a tour operator site and around 80% of my pages include a map…

    I look forward to any future update in Smush or Google Maps Pro plugins that enables Lazy Load without interference…

    I trust all os well!

    The Google Maps Pro plugin is a premium plugin, and I’m afraid we do not have access to it. Please contact the plugin’s developers to confirm if they applying their own lazy loading method on the maps. If they do this will explain the conflict with Lazy Loading enabled in another plugin.

    The Lazy Load in Smuhs plugin is still in beta version, I’ve forwarded the issue to our developers so they could see how this can be improved further.
