smush is creating too many copies

    Hi: I tried to optimize all the images by smush pro. but I can see this plugin is creating too many copies is one image. this is making my website slower than before.

    Hope you are doing good today. ??

    What Smush plugin does is optimize the images based on image thumbnail size registered on your website which would be coming from the theme or plugins.

    If there aren’t any thumbnails size which isn’t present but already registered, smushing will create any new thumbnails based on these definitions.

    You can exclude such thumbnails via the plugin side under Smush > Dashboard > Bulk Smush > Image Sizes as shown in the following screenshot:
