  • Hi @strasznie,

Could you please try to disable lazy loading in Smush and see if that resolves the issue?

    Best regards,
    Anton

We had the same problem as well and deactivated Lazy Load as suggested. That did the trick for us.

yeah i figured it out in the meantime — and yes, it it the lazy load thing. Broke much more than the footer btw. Anyway i turned it off

Sorry for your issues. Lazy loading is still a beta feature, so there might be some issues with it. The upcoming update will bring in a significant amount of improvements to the feature.

    good to know, thanks.

    Hi

I can confirm too – Lazy Loading does still cause issues.

    Specifically:
    – It totally hides images displayed via Ultimate Addons for Elementor’s widget “Before and After Photos”
    – It breaks Elementor Pro’s “Counter” widget
    – It creates clean rows of white space in a masonry grid image gallery owned by Ultimate Addons for Elementor “Image Gallery” widget

I was frustrated enough about Smush I deactivated it and deleted it. Then I stumbled upon this thread, reinstalled and reactivated. Issues came back. I disabled Lazy Load, and all issues are gone now. Lazy Load was causing the issues.

    Hi @sflpbp,

    Sorry for the long reply.

On Monday there will be a big release with a lot of improvements for the lazy load module.

Masonry galleries are a bit complicated because they require images to be present during page generation. That allows the gallery to calculate all the sizes for the layout. I will test the Ultimate Addons for Elementor “Image Gallery” widget and see if it’s possible to make it compatible with Smush. Will get back to you on this one.

    Best regards,
    Anton

    Thanks Anton!
