Smush and PDFs, Why Do I Have jpgs?

    I’ve noticed in my uploads folder, there are a bunch of jpg images of my PDF files. I’ll upload a PDF file and, presumably Smush, adds 4 other .jpg files.

    Two questions:

    Why?

    Can I stop this?
