Smush all images 1MB or smaller

    Hi,

    I just need to know if I understood well.

    If I use your plugin “WP Smush”, it will reduce only the photo which are already under 1MB?

    So what’s up to all the photo over 1MB?

    Because I do actually need to reduce only the images bigger than 1 MB not the opposite. I don’t really understand why only 1MB sorry.

    Hey there Kash,

    Hope you’re well today ??

    The 1MB limitation is used only in free version of the plugin.

    WP Smush Pro allows you to smush images up to 32MB.

    Note that even if you upload an image >1MB, WP generates lots of smaller thumbnails from it that are ususally what you actually embed in your posts. If those thumbnails are <1MB they will be compressed in the free version.
