SmugMug photos won’t load

    Hello. I just updated my website with a new template, and have upgraded WordPress to 4.9.1. I had your plugin installed on my old template and it worked beautifully. However, on the new template with the WordPress update, the photos are no longer loading from my SmugMug site. I am using this string in the shortcode:

    photonic type=’smugmug’ view=’album’ album=’C532PV’ columns=3 count=20 start=1

    I have divided this into 3 pages with 20 photos per page. These loaded very quickly on my old site.

    I just reactivated my old theme on the new WordPress, and the photos load. So I’m guessing there’s a conflict with my new theme. Could you please take a look and see if you can tell what the problem is? Thanks!

    I will need to see the plugin in action with the new theme you are trying so that I can identify the conflict.

    OK – you had provided the link the first time, but the link was working fine, so I wasn’t able to understand the issue.

    Here is what is happening:

    1. If I click on the link you have pasted above directly, I see the photos.
    2. If I go to your top level website (https://catenacreations.com/), then click on the “Photo Gallery” link, I don’t see the photos.

    The reason for this is that your theme makes use of AJAX to load the pages, and Photonic cannot work if the entire page is loaded using an AJAX event. See the last comment on this thread. Can you turn off AJAX transitions for these pages?

    That did it! I shut off the transitions and now it works. Thank you so much!
