    Hello Sayontan,

Our link to Smugmug has broken again. No changes have been made to our page except for the ones I’ve made trying to get a connection again.

About 2 years ago we increased cURL timeout to 30 sec which solved the problem.

This time started getting the timeout error again so I tried switching to “modern code only” and now all we get is empty folder headers and no gallery pics.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

There is no relation between the timeout (which is a server feature) and the “modern code” (which is a browser feature). I would suggest setting it back to the setting that supports both modern and older browsers. Simply put, if you are getting a timeout error, the first thing to try would be to increase the timeout.

You need to fix an issue that is outlined in the very first pinned topic on this forum – you are getting a JavaScript error from your CDN that you need to fix. The linked thread is 3+ months old and I have had 12 versions of Photonic since then. Curious as to why you haven’t encountered this error so far.

The next problem you have is that you are being hit with a JavaScript error from a different plugin. Presumably you performed an update of many things recently, which caused many things to update in one shot – your theme uses Bootstrap, and the version of Bootstrap that it uses requires a version of jQuery that is old. The resultant JS error might be preventing other JS from executing.

The short answer as to why we haven’t noticed – COVID – we’ve been QUIET.

I turned off CDN on our site and it’s working – THANK YOU @sayontan ??
