SMTP working but form not sending mail

    I have set up WP SMTP on my site and I am able to send a test message and I receive the test message, but I cannot get any of the WP Forms to send mail and I have completed several forms on the site and I am not getting the mail. So a little confused how SMTP works but the form is not sending the mail. I looked in the mail delivery on the server and the messages are not sent at all

    and you cannot see if the form sent any mail because you have to upgrade to see the entries. Now why would I upgrade if I cannot get it to work in the first place?

    I have made sure the notifications have my email address as specified in the SMTP settings in config.php but still the email is not being sent
