    Hi @davidu77,

Thanks for reaching out, and I apologize for the trouble you’re experiencing! It seems like you’re having issues related to your WordPress site. It’s possible that the WP Mail SMTP plugin installation is corrupted or there may be a conflict with a third-party plugin or your current theme.

Here’s what you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Reinstall the WP Mail SMTP Plugin: Start by reinstalling the WP Mail SMTP plugin on your site. Ensure that you completely remove the existing installation before reinstalling. This can help resolve any corruption issues.
    2. Deactivate Third-Party Plugins: Temporarily deactivate all third-party plugins except for WP Mail SMTP. Then, try saving your settings again. If this resolves the issue, reactivate each plugin one by one to identify which one is causing the conflict.
    3. Switch Themes: Try switching to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Twenty-One, to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is theme-related.

If you continue to experience issues after trying these steps, please report it to your hosting support. They should be able to resolve your issue as they have access to your WordPress installation and your error logs.

Alternatively, you can set up the WP Mail SMTP site using WordPress constants. This method can bypass potential plugin or theme conflicts. For guidance, please follow this guide:?How to Secure SMTP Settings by Using Constants.

    I hope this helps. Thanks!
