I had the SMTP plugin installed already the site worked fine. Installed the o365 extension. When itried to activate it i got and error (should have save it:( )
I removed the STMP Exetension folder and the error went away. I disabled the plugin
WPO365 | LOGIN and then tried to install and activate is again. It looked like it worked, got some debug errors but on checking had those with both the SMTP and extension disabled.

If i activate the WPO365 | LOGIN plugin i get the following error:

Notice: Undefined index: Class in /home/sherburninelmets/public_html/wp-content/plugins/post-smtp/Postman/Extensions/License/PostmanLicenseManager.php on line 64

  • Hi @resnikov,

What version of the extension are you using? You must use v1.2, as the previous versions have a few bugs in them.

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

OK, guessing its a time thing but the Grant Office 365 Permission now works.

    Hi @resnikov,

When you set up your Office 365 application on Azure, please ensure that the redirect URI is set to:
    https://sherburninelmet-scouts.org.uk/wp-admin/

    Hi @resnikov,

Okay – great news. Are you all sorted?

Getting that on sending the test message and have yet to try setting up the WPO365 | LOGIN again as that was causing a clash i think.

What rights need setting up in Azue?

Client error: POST https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/me/sendMail resulted in a 403 Forbidden response:
{“error”:{“code”:”ErrorSendAsDenied”,”message”:”The user account which was used to submit this request does not have the (truncated…)

    Hi @resnikov,

Yes, that is possible. You shouldn’t need to set up any extra right in Azure. Are you creating the app from the user account that you are sending from?

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

    (@resnikov)

I was creating the app from just App Registraion.

    Hi @resnikov,

Yes – but were you signed into Azure as your sending user? For example if you are going to send form [email protected] you need to create the app while signed in as [email protected]. Does that make sense?

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

    Thread Starter resnikov

    (@resnikov)

Yes that makes sense and no i wasn’t. Will try and let you know.

Okay! Here when you’ve tested that. ??

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

    @resnikov
The user that is signed in to your app MUST have at least one of these permissions:”Send on Behalf” or “Send As” granted to the mailbox, group, or distribution list that the mail is from.

    OR

As Tim explained setup and login with the user you configuring in Post SMTP

    Hope it’s clear.

It might be the version of Azure I have (Office 365 E1) but cannot get the user i want to use to create the app. Azure says its not allowed but under the user settings it says its enabled.

Cheers for your help so far. ??
