SMTP -> ERROR: Failed to connect to server: Connection refused (111)

    All day I have tried to enable users to be able to email me through my website. I have contacted the theme provider, outlook and posted in other forums with no success. I was advised to install this plugin but still have errors and just don’t know where to turn. Can someone please help?

    I’ve tried using Yahoo as well as GMail for my SMTP settings but unfortunately still continue to get this error: SMTP -> ERROR: Failed to connect to server: Connection refused (111)

    Thank you for contacting us!

    In order to solve your issue, you need to go to your Gmail Settings and you will find Forwarding & POP\IMAP link there.

    When you click on the Forwarding & POP\IMAP link then you will find POP Download.

    Inside POP Download, you need to select the option Enable POP for all Mail.

    Similarly, Inside the Forwarding & POP\IMAP link you need to select the IMAP Access.

    Inside IMAP Access, you need to select 1st option i.e. Enable IMAP.

    Then click on Save Changes button.
