• I have a woocommerce webshop, and there is one customer with a @yahoo.com address that won’t receive my comfirmation mails. The automated mail when she orders a product is normally received, my conformation mail that her order is ready doesn’t come through.
I don’t get a error in easy WP smtp, but when I check my plugin WP mail logging, there is a notification with this mail which says: “SMTP error: data not accepted”.

How do I fix this? The error itself is happenings since more than one month now.

  • Hi,

I have a woocommerce webshop, and there is one customer with a @yahoo.com address that won’t receive my confirmation mails.

There might be an issue with your clients yahoo account. They need to investigate this issue further with Yahoo support. The reason why I say this is because from your comment I understand that all other clients are receiving their confirmation emails. Is this correct?

That’s correct! That was also my first thought, but then I thought it would be more logical that i messed something up, than that the folks of yahoo messed something up ??

But you’re probably right, if there’s just one customer that’s having problems, it’s probably on their side.
@yahoo isn’t that popular here, so I can’t compare with other @yahoo adresses.

I’ll wait it out then. Thanks for the feedback.

    You are most welcome ??

If your issue is resolved, can you mark this support thread as resolved.

    Thank you
