    Hi,

Everything was working fine up until recent weeks. A bit of background.
My email domain is hosted with GoDaddy, which in turn is linked to my Office365 account. Therefore, I have been using the Office365 SMTP settings.

My hosting provider, however, is Bluehost.

When I go to send the test email, I get the following message:

SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. Connection failed. stream_socket_enable_crypto(): Peer certificate CN=*.bluehost.com' did not match expected CN=smtp.office365.com’

Any ideas? I spoke to Bluehost and they said I need to check with my mail provider and it’s nothing to do with them.

  • Hi,

If you don’t enter the correct settings in our plugin, the emails are not going to be sent. You need to speak to GoDaddy about this issue. If you want to avoid email issues, I would use Bluehost email servers for your emails. This makes more sense to me.

    Kind regards.
