• Hello, I am using SMTP server to send emails, sometimes due to some error Mailpoet stop sending emails, and there is no way to know that Mailpoet serivce is paused unless I visit Help > Status section or emails section, is it possible for mailpoet to send email to admin email when mailpoet pause sending service, or at least show some error or banner on dashboard on all admin pages like some other plugins(Element Pack pro, Yoast etc) shows for their advertisement.

    Hi there @hamid009,

Thanks for the suggestion. As you have noted here, you can see that any emails failed to send or were paused in sending either from the MailPoet > Emails dashboard menu item, or under MailPoet > Help on the “System Status” tab.

We don’t currently have an option for a banner message or email notification when an outgoing newsletter is paused. We do have a feature requests board for keeping track of ideas.

I see another customer has already posted a request for this exact functionality, here:
    https://feedback.mailpoet.com/feature-requests/p/sending-paused-or-stopped-more-aggressive-notices

You can add a comment to that thread to “upvote” that idea. This will help our development team better understand what features are most needed and where to focus their development work.

That post is from 2021, so I think it will be useless to ask for this as clearly it is not on Mailpoet priority, I think I will write my own function.

    Hi there @hamid009,
    ?
We do value your input, and while this issue has been a lower priority for our development team, the more customers that ask for it, the higher up the list it will go. So adding your comment to that request is still worthwhile.

That said, if you are able to create a snippet that adds the warning you wish, please do share it here! Publically shared snippets help our entire community. While your code might not work for everyone, it could be a good starting place for anyone wishing to do the same, and would be valued.
    ?
    Thank you!
