SMS won’t send

    I installed the plug in and the pro pack. I used Temnyx as the gateway. I entered the API, set up a number in telnyx (added money to the account), and set everything else up per the instructions. I tried to send a test sms from the plugin and it shows “success” in the plugin outbox, but the message was not received. Also in my Telnyx account the message was not attempted to be sent as the counter has not moved from 0. Also in the Telnyx account I did send a test SMS directly from my account and it worked. So the info isn’t getting from WP SMS to Telnyx it appears. Can you help me?

    Can you please let me know what the response is to the messages in the SMS → Outbox → Responses?

    Do you see the credit/balance under SMS → Settings → Gateways?

    I figured out the issue… maybe this will help others….

    I could see the Telnyx API Key was being accessed in the Telnyx website because it shows how long ago it was “used”…. So I could see the “attempts” connecting to the API, but texts weren’t sending. This made me think there was a “username” error since I knew the API key (or password) was correct.

    Before I posted I had my “sender ID” (or phone number) in the gateway formatted as 555-555-5555 and 1-555-555-5555 – neither of which worked. It only worked when I used this format +1-555-555-5555?

    Not including the + with the country code as a part of my “username” was the issue. After I did this it’s working.
