SMS Text AND Email Notification Alerts

    New to WordPress plugin development of any kind. Let’s just get that out of the way.

    I’m trying to find or modify a plugin that would allow users to sign up for “alerts” when a new post is published. They could sign up for email OR SMS (via SMTP) notifications, OR BOTH.

    Something maybe like the alert enrollment on this site: https://www.ridepatco.org/schedules/enotification.asp

    Any thoughts? Or is the not possible with WordPress?
