    Hi,

    This plugin seems to fail after updating. It says verification code sent via sms but the code is never received. Upon restoring previous versions of the plugin it fixes itself. This has happened in the past. We do not make any changes to the plugin when updating, just simply fails to send the message after update.

    Could you please confirm if you have updated the plugin code to make it compatible with the website?
    If there are any custom changes in the plugin specific to a website, the changes will not be present in the plugin updates.

    Hi @shrikantniras,

    I have only configured the settings within the plugin, I have not changed any code in the back end. Do any of the plugin settings not transfer after an update?

    Each plugin update is backward compatible. We make sure that the plugin will work for existing and new users.

    The issue could be due to environmental changes.

    Hi @shrikantniras,

    I left it over the weekend and we had plenty of customers able to purchase. However, this morning we got a call with a customer unable to receive the verification link and I can confirm that it is now not working again. I reverted back to 3.9.1 before the weekend and it was working fine and I have made no changes to the website whatsoever since then. I am now convinced that the problem is not due to updating. What could be causing this?

    I have checked the shared link, however, it seems you have disabled the OTP verification on the checkout form.
    Could you please enable the OTP verification on the checkout page so that I can check the issue?

    Can I ask what you are trying to check? I can’t activate the plugin again and wait for a reply because the customers will not be able to make purchases.

    The problem is exactly as I’ve described; you click the verification button, it returns the “successfully sent” message and nothing is received. SMS count stays at 102.

    I am leaving it deactivated for the time being for the sake of allowing the business to run.

    Hi,

    I have enabled the plugin and it appears to be working fine. I did not change anything, it just works now. How do you suggest I stop it from breaking in the future?

    I checked the OTP verification functionality on the link shared and everything is working fine.
    Could you please confirm if the issue was with particular phone numbers or with all numbers?

    If the issue is with a particular phone number, it could be because of network congestion at the provider’s end

    I responded to your above reply via email. Now, the OTP is not working again. I have made sure to change absolutely nothing. I would greatly appreciate if you could do the testing as soon as possible.

    Thanks for connecting over the mail support.

    As discussed, the issue could be because of too many requests from the same numbers.
    In this case, the service provider could consider the requests as spam and block them for some time.

    Another reason could be network congestion at the network provider’s end.
    Let me know if you face any issues in the future.
