    How are form being sent via SMPT with SSL:ON ?
    It seems that form submissions are being blocked by my webhost
    because neither of these two settings are available on Form Maker via
    Wordpress..

    You can use WP SMTP plugin for example. Setting up an external SMTP server, such as Gmail should work. However, Gmail requires authentication.

    Mailer: smtp
    SMTP Authentication: yes
    SMTP Security: SSL
    SMTP Port: 465
    SMTP Username: your gmail full address
    SMTP Password: your gmail password
    SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com
