• Hello,

    I am using the plugin and inserted the SMTP user and password in the setting feild,
    I am using office 365 email..

    from three days when I tried to send test email from the plugin I got error as that:

    SMTP ERROR: Password command failed: SMTP Error: Could not authenticate.CLIENT -> SERVER: QUIT
    SMTP ERROR: QUIT command failed: 535 5.7.3 Authentication unsuccessful [DB6PR0601CA0048.eurprd06.prod.outlook.com]
    SMTP Error: Could not authenticate.

    please advise??

    I could successfully access the mail with the password from the web browser.

    @mbrsolution I would mention that Microsoft office 365 has activate multiple-authentication for their emails, would that affect in somehow?

    as I tested it last 2 weeks and the plugin was work fine and the test email was sent successfully..

    if that the case how can we avoid that?

    Yes, that could cause this issue. Unfortunately I don’t use Microsoft Office 365. You will have to has their support to help you our with this issue.
