Ok. This is the way to configure Knews SMTP with Gmail, with the sample data:

    1) In Configuration “Main options” tab, put the sender email as: [email protected] and save changes

    2) In the “Advanced options” tab:

    Host SMTP: smtp.gmail.com
    Port SMTP: 587
    SMTP User: [email protected]
    SMTP Password: thisisatest
    SMTP Secure: tls

This is all, test it, change the radio button to SMTP and save it!

    Regards,
    Carles.

Thank you so much for the answer!

At the moment we are having some troubles with the security of the webpage and I can’t test it but as soon as the webpage became normal I will notice you.

    Regards,
    Juan.

    Doesn’t work.
And I have tryed with all configurations..
Maybe the problem is the webpage server, I dont’t know.
    Sorry for the inconvenience

I just tried this values with my testing installation and worked for me… maybe your webserver blocks external SMTP connections? (for now only Godaddy is known for this)
