    Hello,
on my client’s website the plugins Smash Balloon Social Wall, Instagram Feed Pro Developer, as well as Custom Facebook Feed Pro Smash are installed. (I did not create the website, I’m only doing maintenance).
I just installed and configured Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent on this site.
Even though the scan shows the cookies associated with the 3 Smash Balloon Plugins, and Smash Balloon Claim to have correct integration with your plugin, the cookies are still being set before the Cookie Banner is accepted. I even set the GDPR settings in the Smash Balloon config to “Yes”, which should force them to be compliant. I don’t know whether this is an issue for you to check, or for Smash Balloon.

I hope someone can help here.

    Thank you in advance.

    Best Regards
    Martin Staudt

    Hello Martin,

    Thank you for your message.

Upon checking the domain I’m not seeing any Smash Balloon cookies being released either pre or post consent. I can see that cookiedatabase.org (which we use for cookie info) isn’t familiar with the cookies of Smash Balloon either it seems. In general you could always blacklist a specific script in order to make it compliant by following the steps here: https://complianz.io/integrating-plugins/

I hope this helps, and wish you a great day!

    Hello,

thank you for your response. As you can see on this page by Smash Ballon: https://smashballoon.com/doc/custom-facebook-feed-gdpr-compliance/ they claim to have an integration with Complianz.

    The cookies in question are sbjs_current, sbjs_current_add, sbjs_first, sbjs_first_add, sbjs_migrations, sbjs_session, sbjs_udata.

Are these cookies not showing up for you at all?

Again, thank you for your help.

    Best Regards

    Hi Martin,

I do see the SBJS cookies, but as far as I know they are not related to Smash Balloon. Usually they are placed by WooCommerce.

An easy way to prevent these cookies from loading pre-consent is via the WooCommerce plugin itself, the user can navigate to?WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Features, and disable the Order Attribution feature here.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi,
thank you for explaining. This was my mistake then, to attribute these cookies to Smash Balloon.

This solves my problem. Again, thank you very much for your help!

    Best Regards
