SmartSlider – full page slideshow directly underneath the header

    Thank you for such a great slider!

    I am using the Nirvana wordpress theme but even though it has a Presentation Page with a lot of options it doesn’t allow me to use the nirvana slider in the header/top section with a main-content section below and a right sidebar which is what I need (a basic layout in other words).

    I have created a child theme and downloaded Smart Slider 2 but I don’t know where to add the code in order to have the slider appear just below the nav-bar. I have tried putting it in the child-theme functions.php file and also created a frontpage.php file and put the code in that but neither worked correctly. I have looked at your video and searched the forums. I have asked the Nirvana developer but no luck.

    I don’t want the slider in the content section of the page but across the top under the nav-bar.

    My site is at moc.edifyclients.com at present.and I am using WP 4.0

    We have helped to Tina in email, but if anyone wants to do the same with Nirvana theme, it can be done in the theme’s header.php file, right under the </nav> code. Here is another example in the documentation:
