Smart Slider (or Any Slider) doesn’t work on GeneratePress

Hello,

I just installed a fresh copy of GP Free and then created a very basic child theme.

I went ahead and installed Smart Slider, which seems to work just fine when in preview mode (I am using Elementor) but when I try to view it on the website, it just won’t show up.

User another slider, the Nivo Slider but this too, doesn’t seem to work.

Tried figuring it out and looking up for help but hit a wall.

Does anybody have any idea what the issue could be?

Any heads-up would be great.
