Smart slider 3 Id reinitialized in Elementor translated page after “Edit Page”

    I’m not pretty sure the issue is linked to Smart Slider 3 but, there is so many plugin linked that why not ?

    I am trying to keep a translated FR version of a “Smart Slider 3” (ex : ID 15), in the Elementor Page, even after a page edition (“Page Title” value for example).

    The situation :

    • My EN (main language) Elementor page contains the “Smart Slider 3” ID 2
    • My FR (other language) Elementor page contains the “Smart Slider 3” ID 15
    • I Update, through WordPress page (“edit page” button), some SEO informations (page title)

    Unfortunately after that the “Smart Slider 3” ID from FR page is reintialized to “2” instead of “15”.

    Is there a better way to handle Smart Slider translation (it is not a “Post Slider” as you can see on page, it is a kind of “presentation slider” with text).

    The problem will more likely come from the plugin you are using for translation. We use functions provided by Elementor to register our widget with them. This doesn’t include any language-related code, since neither we nor Elementor manage languages, so we can’t deal with the resulting problems from our side. So, the language plugin saves the data of the page in different languages, and it makes an error in this.

    From our side, what we could advise is to try using Elementor’s shortcode widget:

    and enter the shortcode of the slider here:

    Since the shortcode element is provided by Elementor itself, hopefully the language plugin can save it correctly. But if it wouldn’t, then I could only recommend getting in touch with the developers of your translation plugin.
