    Here are some details.
    Smart publishing involves three settings:
    – Smart publishing
    With this you simply switch on the feature.

    – Manually approve posts for smart publishing
    Posts shall be approved for smart publishing. This is made to make sure you don’t write an article and ExpressCurate publishes it when it’s still in the process. When off, then you will need to approve the draft post for smart publishing. You can find the checkbox in the publishing widget of the edit post page. When on, all draft posts will be smart published.

    – Publish draft articles
    This defines the frequency of smart publishing. Every n-th hour a new draft post will be published.

    According to your note I can assume that the “manually approve” setting is switched on and you don’t approve the draft post for publishing.

    Can you, please check that setting and let us know?
