    Hello,

In my opinion the Smart Payment Buttons are very confusing for most customers.

    The Old way:

A Button with “Continue to payment” is clear and everybody understand this. Click on the Button to Pay…

The new way: Different Buttons at the end of the page. Most visitors don’t know what to do. At least we need a editable title over the smart buttons?! Like: “To choose your payment option click on the buttons below:”

    What do you think?

    Thank you…

    Hi @infonetzlichtcom

Smart Payment Buttons are a new feature provided by PayPal’s API. It allows the ability to unify the styling of the buttons and also will integrate with other APIs like Venmo. This, however, does remove the styling applied previously by the active theme.

We plan to add other styling options as they become available through PayPal’s API

I agree. We’d like to add a message over the buttons. Especially since we’ve found that if someone hits the PayPal express button on the single product page (intentionally or by accident), it wipes out anything else in the cart. (I’ve been looking through this forum to see if anyone else has that problem.)
