Smart cookie kit and reCAPTCHA

    I have setup this plugin some time ago, and was using it with CF7 (5.0.4) and reCAPCTHA v2, fine.
    (NB: I am using also Google Tag Manager but have not activated the blocking option)
    I have probably upgraded CF7 and had an issue: reCAPTCHA was not showing and yet CF7 was being blocked.
    I have upgraded again CF7 to 5.1.1, and recaptcha to v3, and yet it was not working…. unless I desactivate Smart Cookie Kit.
    I fount out because the source was showing:

    Now I reverted to the oldest versions CF7 (5.0.4) and reCAPCTHA v2,and it works again. But I thought to let uou know and see if something needs to be upgraded your side?

    you are describing a known issue.

    Please, could you check if the solution posted on this thread works for you?

    In short: you could try to use “Google Captcha (reCAPTCHA) by BestWebSoft” plugin to add the captcha to the CF form.

    Thanks for the response and for the suggestion.
    I rather not install another interacting plugin, as I fear more incompatibilities to come.
    For now, I’ll stay with the oldest version of CF7 that works with your plugin, and either wait for an update on your side, or use another reCAPTCHA ( I heared WPBruiser could do). If I can stay away from Google products for any cookie/GDPR related issue, I believe it is safer ??
