    Hi there,

    Am I correct in assuming following scenario is what the plugin is also capable of doing;

    domainalias1.com -> domain2.com and once the content from domain2.com is loaded the url in addressbar remains domainalias1.com even if clicked further content links it will remain domainalias1.com in the url.

    Been trying to test it out, but seems I can only get the first part correct. Redirect works fine and url shows domainalias1.com for the initial index page, however if clicked forward to other content it changes back to domain2.com in urd field.

    Only demo mapping added (cache killer on etc);
    https://bullrun.eu <=> https://korrus3.ee

    I can only assume I need more redirect mappings or … any pointers are most appreciated. TY

    hy,

    the plugin is intended to map an additional domain to only a single page/post/custom post type as well as descendants of that url. you should not map it to the root of your main domain. purpose is to have extra domains that are good for campaigning or seo for that special part of your website.

    so if mapping would look like
    https://bullrun.eu <=> https://korrus3.ee/bullrun (or whatever urls you have)

    than the behaviour is that links to https://korrus3.ee/bullrun are being changed to https://bullrun.eu and when you call https://bullrun.eu the content of https://korrus3.ee/bullrun is shown.

    hope it will be helpful for you ??

    Hi Matthias,

    Yes, most definitely this clears things up, TY!

    I’ve got a similar WPML site (few posts back in this forum) coming up and was just trying to test functionality. Happy to see the WPML question has already been solved with your excellent support. Hard to come by these days.

    Again, appreciated & TY!
