    Hi David. Thanks for the plugin, it works great.

    I have a small request, and I figured it would be easier for me to tell you here, than figure out SVN. On the create network page you populate two fields with text, “My new network” and “My new site name”.

    I feel that they should have a faded color, probably a light gray. I don’t create networks that often, so I keep getting stuck there, thinking I have to highlight that text to replace it.

    Even better would to make it disappear when that field has the focus. Is that an easy thing to adjust?

    Thanks! I’m glad it’s working well for you.

    That text is set as the placeholder attribute of the form field, so behaviors like disappearing when you click on it would be up to your web browser. So that’s difficult to change.

    I agree that it should be a light gray, but it looks like the admin style sheet for WP makes it black. You can edit either your dashboard CSS or the admin.css file included with this plugin to make placeholder text light gray.

    Maybe I’ll include something similar in the next version, but I’m leaning more toward opening a ticket with WP to make placeholder text look different.

    Thanks, I hadn’t realized that was in HTML now, use to the JavaScript making it disappear. To further complicate it, I think that Firefox may deal with color on the placeholder differently, as it looks fine in Chromium. Not sure how to handle that, since Mozilla might fix it, and the style WordPress applies is probably correct.

    Anyhow, that aside, I do have a suggestion. I don’t think the placeholder text is particularly useful. I am conflicted on suggesting an alternative, because in a way I think this is a complex plugin and folks using it should catch ubiquitous design patterns. It should probably have little blurbs explaining those fields though, at least for the Root Site Name.

    I will think about this, and if anything occurs to me I will suggest it. Thanks. ^_^
